On the 4th December 2010, Auto-Mate Service Centres sponsored the Springbok Series 9-Hour Retro historic racing day at Kyalami.  The event, which is now in its fifth year, was once again a great success with excellent racing conditions and strong crowd support. 

Auto-Mate Service Centres hosted franchisees, partner and suppliers at Kyalami for the action packed day of racing and other motorsport events.   As a category sponsor, Auto-Mate Service Centres branding was widely visible throughout the grounds. 

The highlight of the day was the final draw of the winner of Auto-Mate’s Stop, Go, Figo competition.  All 18 finalists chose a key that they thought would open the car and turns were taken to find the final winner.  Lucky number 13 key opened the car door and Pearl Monyane of Polokwane was the proud winner of the new Ford Figo Ambiente.

On the 16th October 2010 the annual ArcelorMittal AK road race was held in Van der Bijl. Auto-Mate sponsored one of the water points on the day. The water point was situated on the 5km mark which was the busiest and most enjoyable point of the race.

Auto-Mate Franchising, the head office, also participated on the day with the Managing Director, Josh Broome, and a few others from Head office running on the day.

The race was a successful event and for the 2nd year in a row Auto-Mate won the best water point of the day. We would like to congratulate and thank our Van der Bijl branch in winning the award as well as setting up and running a brilliant water point, and contributing to a hugely successful event.



On 25/10/2007 at the Annual FASA Awards ceremony at Emperor's Palace, Auto-Mate Service Centres was nominated as one of 3 finalists in the "Newcomer Franchisor of the Year" category.

We were lined up with Romans Pizza (Winner) and Auto-Magic.

This is the annual event where the Franchising Industry (FASA) recognises outstanding achievements and we are so proud to have been rated in the top 3.

This reinforces our belief of being the market leaders in Franchise Motor Service Industry. Well done and thank you to all our wonderful Franchisees for helping to make this possible.

Auto-Mate Service Centres Vanderbijlpark recently had their '1st Birthday Bash'.
Many visitors turned out to view the classic car show that had been organised as part of the celebrations.
